Football season is ending and how I am going to miss my football family. I really forgot what it felt like to have a group of parents feeling what I am when all the kids are on the field. Now wrestling season is beginning and it is going to be nice to see them familiar faces again, but I already got the butterflies is my belly knowing that it is only my child on that mat and they wont be able to depend on anyone else to protect them but they will have to find the the strength and courage within themselves to succeed. Playing for a team is learning to work together and is just as important to learn as being independent and having to do it on your own. I think sometimes we forget what sports really do teach us.
