For #298 today we traveled to Finnigans Restaurant & Pub in Broadalbin, NY. (https://facebook/pages/Finnigans-Restaurant-Pub/524843430902488) Its a nice Irish-themed restaurant. You pass by a large bar to get to the dining room. The waitress was friendly and explained a little about the restaurant. It used to be called MaryAnns. Our food arrives and looks pretty good. The eggs were very good. They had a nice fluffy, buttery taste. The home fries with onions were very good. Just enough slightly burnt ones on one side as I like. Bob got 4 slices of bacon as opposed to my one sausage patty. The sausage was about average and Bob said his bacon was good albeit a little different. The bread/toast was nice and thick and delicious. Bobs tea was already in a cup so no spillage today. I was tempted to to go with the Full Irish Breakfast but opted for my regular this time. A good reason to go back with an off SBC unofficial visit. The bill came in at $16.20 and was well worth it. If youre in the area on Rt29 I would recommend stopping.
