For 99 percent of dogs, having the only family youve ever known - TopicsExpress

For 99 percent of dogs, having the only family youve ever known pack up their things and drive away for good, leaving you outside the empty house, in the frigid cold of Wyoming, right before Christmas would be the worst thing in the world. For adorable little 21 lb. Annie, it probably seemed like the worst thing in the world, but shortly thereafter a dog lover picked her up wandering, forlorn and shivering on the streets - and posted her on a facebook page that our local SDR foster/volunteer saw and suddenly her luck changed for the better, forever. Anne is now cozy, warm and safely snuggling in bed with her foster brothers and sisters in her SDR foster home! Annie is a 21 lb. Aussie mix, but she doesnt know it - she thinks she is a big dog! She is great with all people, loves dogs and cats and is a little pistol according to her foster mom! She loves to play tug of war with dogs or people, romps in the deep snow and is housetrained and eager to please. Her foster mom calls her a gem. To apply for Annie go to our website: summitdogrescue.org In the photo below, Annie is the little lump in the corner of the end of the bed. There are 4 dogs on the bed, Annie being the smallest ( but dont tell her that!).
