For All Those Who Have Lost a Loved One : } I stood beside your bed last night, I came to have a peep. I could see that you were crying, ... you found it hard to sleep. I whispered to you softly as you brushed away a tear, Its ME, I havent left you, ... Im well, Im fine, Im here! : ) I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour your tea. You were thinking of the many times your hands reached out to me. I was with you at the shops today, -- your arms were getting sore. I longed to help take your bags for you, I wished I could do more. I was with you at my grave today, -- you tend it with such care. I wanted to remind and reassure you, though, that my spirits not lying there. : ) I walked with you toward the house, as you fumbled for the key, -- I gently put my hand on you, and smiled and said, Im here again, ...Its ME. : ) You looked so very tired, and you sank into a chair. I tried so hard to let you know that I was right beside you, standing there, -- and that its possible to be near you each day, and let you know with certainty Im never far away. You sat there very quietly, then smiled, -- I think you knew... in the stillness of that moment I was very close to you. : ) The day is now over, ... I smile and watch you yawning, -- I say, Goodnight, God bless, -- Ill see you in the morning. : ) And when the time is right for you to cross this brief divide, Ill rush across to greet you, and once again in great joy forever, well always be side by side. ;*D
