Nunez Auditorium on this Thursday, April 3, 2014 @ 7:00 p.m. regarding the Hospital Millage There will be a public forum held Thursday @ Elaine P. Nunez Auditorium on April 3, 2014 @ 7:00 p.m. Questions, answers, discussion. Show up and ask the questions and get your answers. This is for the entirety of St. Bernard Parish, not one specific district. For EVERYBODY- If you have questions you have an opportunity to learn the answers to why the Hospital Board is requesting this one time millage. I encourage ALL parish residents who have used the hospital, who WANT to use the hospital, to attend and get your questions answered. Here is an opportunity to get on the record the answers and get a clear understanding about what they are requesting and why the funds are needed for the St. Bernard Parish Hospital to go forward into the future. In order to provide specialists so you are not just stabilized and sent to another hospital, replace an inadequate billing system and keep physicians on staff 24/7, the hospital needs a funding mechanism.
