For George with Memo Willy Sagitario 22 hrs · ON NOVEMBER 29, 2001 After a long and brave battle with cancer, dies at the age of 58, ex - guitarist of the Beatles, George Harrison. With him in his last moments were his wife Olivia Trinidad Arias and his son Dhani. George died at 1.30 in the morning in Los Angeles, in a home of her friend , Paul McCartney,in 9536 Heather Road. A few hours later his remains were cremated and the ashes were thrown into the river Yamuna, 40 miles from the Taj Mahal in the India. The family issued a statement saying that: we are deeply moved by love and compassion samples received from people around the world. He was the baby of the Beatles, and unlike Paul and John, had a hard time to develop his talent as a writer and do solo music. But he worked hard, and with enormous patience, building his music meticulously, and eventually came to write one of the most great all-time love songs - Something.
