For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.(2.Tim 1 vs 7) This was a charge to a young evangelist,Timothy. I know there is a movement out there against the knowledge of God and adherence to His principles, however, we know we have a great work on our hands to share the truth in love. Now,are you fearful? Or timid to share the goodnews? Here is a little something for you. 1. Know that you are called by grace and not of works, dont judge anyone, correct in love (remember, you were once lost😊). 2.Take time to get filled with fuel (the holy spirit expatiating and invigorating you through the word of God daily). Can you imagine setting off on a journey without appropriately filling your car with the right fuel? 3.let your conversation be full of love as was shown by Jesus (always full of compassion) There is power in the name of Jesus!!! Above all, know that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness. They dont want us to talk about self-control (as charged in the bible) to young people, but they will be angry, sad and prosecute a teenager that kills because of lack of self-control. Can you see the irony? Now is your chance to be the light! Who will you hold a gospel conversation with today? Remember, God is counting on you to stop being selfish☺.
