For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7. Good morning friends. I only have a few seconds to tell you what God placed in my heart today. When we are of God [this only applies to those who have received the Holy Spirit] and we experience fear in any issue of life whether with our children future, our jobs, our relationships in general, with our search for the truth, or any other issue either small or large, we ought to remember the verse above, we ought to remember that the spirit of fear is not from God, it is from his enemy the devil who wants to keep us in bondage, Satan does NOT want us to experience the power that it is in us through God himself, through his Holy Spirit, he wants us NOT to experience Gods promises of blessings and spiritual prosperity which overcomes everything else. If and when, we experience in our flesh any type of fear we ought to kill the flesh by claiming and believing the power of the Spirit, it is this Spirit that puts all our thoughts under submission of Jesus, the one that died for us so that we can overcome the world through his power ONLY. Friends, God is so confident in who He is that He sees the things he purposes to do as if they are already done, He tells us his Word will not pass away because He knows who He is and He knows the power and goodness He possesses. I would like to tell more about this, but I will say to you that if you experience fear of anything in your life, ask God to rebuke that spirit in you, and ask God to sustain you in HIM, to remind you that his Word says Greater is He that is in me [God], than he who is in the world [Satan]. When we grow our faith the Spirit of God subdue everything in us that is not of God making more than conquerors in Christ Jesus our Lord. Make this your banner today and overcome all your battles with the confidence that God has, the confidence of the Spirit that has been given to dwell in us. Amen!
