For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (John 3:17-19 KJV) This passage explains why we preach Jesus. We preach that we are destined to hell as soon as we know what sin is. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. (James 4:17 KJV) God is a holy God and cannot justify sin. It has to be punished. But He gave us His Son to pay for our sin. All we have to do is believe that Jesus is the Son of God. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23 KJV) The passage also says why people dont want to believe on Him, and that because of their deeds. Some people dont want to trust in a God that is holy because because they dont want to change their way of life, a life of sin. Even though the life of sin has them in darkness and bondage. My prayer is that you recognize that Christ is your Savior from the wrath to come. Please accept Him.
