“For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not” - TopicsExpress

“For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not” Job 33:14 It is so easy to get lost in the midst of the noise all around and miss the voice of God. The world we are in today is so filled with activities that many believers are so engrossed and miss the still small voice of the Holy Spirit. God always speaks ahead of your challenges; He does not want you to be caught on awares. But most times, His children are too busy to hear. The world in which we live today is not designed to favour you. The devil will always come with his distractions, but I come to warn you, don’t let the scripture above apply to you that God will speak once and twice and yet you wont perceive Him. I pray that once the Lord will speak and twice you will hear Him. You will hear him with your inner ear and obey His word in Jesus’ name. One of the things that you must understand when the days get darker, when there are challenges and tempest tosses high is that God still speaks in the midst of darkness. Genesis 1:1 says “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth” Genesis 1:2 says “And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters” notice that in that very dark situation, the Holy Spirit was still moving. So there is no situation, no challenge you face in life that does not have an answer. It depends on where your ears are, because in the midst of difficulties, the devil’s voice gets loud and the intention is to intimidate you, the intention is to distract you, frustrate you and make you irrelevant and if care is not taken, and you listen to him, other than God, he will confuse you. One of the things I have learnt over the years is that the devil will never tell me something good. Anytime I hear something that will keep me away from God, I know it is the devil who is speaking. When there are challenges, difficulties and there is possibly a temptation to do the wrong thing, know that it is the devil speaking. So it is important to be able to know that God will always draw you near and always tells you something that will draw you near to him and not further from him. That is one of the ways to tell who is speaking and assess what you are hearing. So, what are you hearing in the midst of what is going on? I declare today that you will continue to hear the voice of the shepherd and not the voice of a stranger in Jesus name.
