In addition to the Bluegrass Music, there is a Car Show, Craft Show, and numerous Children’s activities, as well as jamming in the shade. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy this fun filled day. The music is from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Donations are accepted and are greatly appreciated to help cover the festival expenses. Carl Junction, Missouri, is located 8 miles northwest of Joplin, on Highway 171. Watch for the signs. See you there. The Carl Junction Bluegrass Festival is always on the 4th Saturday in September Notice: Only Service Dogs Allowed. No other dogs allowed in the festival area (includes concessions, craft booths, car show, children’s activities, petting zoo, fan seating, music stage and band parking areas).
