•••For I Was Once A Lost Soul••• I am a Christian who loves and lives for God I dont promise that I wont fall But I know my Lord will never let me hit the ground For every step I take Hes always around Even when the oceans rise and thunders roar I shall not be scared, for my Lord walks on water When I feel in need and in despair I shall look above the highest mountains Where my help shall come from I know how it feels like to be in the dark Living a life of temporary pleasures Trying to please people more than trying to please God I cared more of what everyone else thought of me Forgetting that there was a man above all who made me Till one day the angel of God found me Lost and wandering in the darkest corners of the earth All bruised and cracked, with sin written on my face But the good Samaritan saw a child of God beyond all that He reached for me and pulled me out.. He told me about the word of God... Though I was brought up under the Word But I felt He was speaking Greek to me I asked him: But how can God love a person like me? After committing so many sins? With all the bruises,cracks and holes all over my soul? How can God accept me? Im not perfect to be called His child But then the Angel of God had all the answers He said:We are all the same in the eyes of the Lord, God doesnt call the perfect and pure but He calls the imperfect and impure and makes them perfect and pure for Gods love has no discrimination or boundaries Tears ran through my face as I felt my heart ache His word cut through right deep my soul He told me I had a choice to make Either to remain in the dark or walk with him in the light I fell on my knees... I lifted my hands so high And I said:Lord here I am, as bruised and impure as I am, please repair my soul, wash my sins away as I accept You as my Lord and Savior It was the spirit of God that touched me.. I felt all the burden Ive been carrying slipping away.. I felt at peace with myself, I was in awe of Gods love...For the hand of Jesus touched me and I knew I would never be the same again.. For I was once a lost soul but mercy said no!! Now Im saved by the amazing grace of the Lord Washed by the purified blood of Christ All my sins forgiven through the cross... I tell you the pleasures of the world are just temporary But the riches of heaven are for eternity.. Seek the Kingdom of God first, and everything else shall be added for you #MeLore_Bae
