For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be, and you may not find me as you want me to be. I fear that there may be ....gossip,... (2 Corinthians 12:20 NIV). The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to the inmost parts. (Proverbs 18:8 NIV) A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends. (Proverbs 16:28 NIV). They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, ...They are full of envy... They are gossips, (Romans 1:29 NIV). Without wood a fire goes out; without a gossip a quarrel dies down. (Proverbs 26:20 NIV)A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret. (Proverbs 11:13 NIV). Church this is what the Bible says about gossip. Therefore for our own good let us make every effort to avoid gossip or entertaining it. Let us do what pleases God. for gossip destroys friendship, confidence churches , families and workplaces. amen. love you all with the love of Christ
