(Philippians 1:6) Pastor Spencer - So, are believers fatalists, who go along their merry way in life, not caring a fig about anything, and just expecting God to take care of them? Not at all! We are responsible for our lives and in many cases the lives of those around us. We are also to use out God-given abilities to work, plan, organize our lives, and prepare for the future. But God will work in various ways to preserve and strengthen our faith throughout our lives, so that we will face our final test at death with a saving faith in Jesus Christ, and thus enter into His glory!
