For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not - TopicsExpress

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. If we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance, but we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. Make us glad according to the days in which you have afflicted us, the years in which we have seen evil. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us; establish the work of our hands. LET US PURSUE THE THINGS WHICH MAKE FOR PEACE and THE THINGS BY WHICH ONE MAY EDIFY ANOTHER. Therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consultation also abounds through Christ. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. Finally brothers and sisters, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us, Amen. (Romans 8:18,20,25,28,30)(Psalms 90:15,17)(Romans 14:19,8)(2Cor. 1:5)(2Cor. 13:11)(Philippians 4:8)(1Thess. 5:28)
