For Immediate Release: New up and coming Kitchens of Distinction Boutique Bistro offers “Winning” opportunities to the Victoria downtown lunch crowd! Are you bored with current lunch options? Are you looking for something different? Can the words; delicious, flavorful, healthy, fresh and unique apply all to the same lunch? In July 2013, Kitchens of Distinction Catering will launch their new, Boutique Bistro, focused on satisfying the lunch crowd in the downtown core! With a seasonal menu, offering award-winning cuisine, your taste buds will continuously be tantalized! Various themes are created to satisfy those wishing to explore an International Culinary Experience, including Aboriginal items. One of the best features of this new and exciting lunch location is that Chef & Culinary Explorer, Shirley Lang, desires your input into the menu! Every month, KOD Boutique Bistro will be hosting a ‘recipe search’ to discover one unique recipe that speaks to the diverse landscape of our growing metropolis. Submit your favourite salad, sandwich, soup or dessert recipe to the email link below. The chosen recipe will be featured in Shirley’s new bistro for one month and will be named in honor of the Winning Recipient! The Winner will also receive a complimentary lunch for themselves and a special guest, as well as a photo and write up on our website blog, (kitchensofdistinction.ca). Remember, the recipe has to be your own adaptation and be able to convert to a lunch item easily while reflecting our growing cultural diversity. There is also the possibility we may ask you to attend our kitchen to demonstrate how it should be made in order to retain authentic integrity.
