For Immediate Release November 20, 2014 2015 YONEX US Open Badminton Championships Part of BWF Grand Prix Gold Series to be held in Brentwood, New York June 16-21, 2015 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 2015 US Open Badminton Championships, Part of BWF Grand Prix Gold Series will be held in Brentwood, New York, June 16-21, 2015. The tournament will be contested at the Suffolk County Community College, Health, Sports and Education Center at Grant Campus Crooked Hill Road in Brentwood. The event boasts a total prize purse of $120,000. This marks the second year in which the event will be held at the Suffolk County Community College. This is a qualifying event for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Tournament play will be conducted in men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles.
