For Immediate Release Sheriff Gary Gulledge Offers Reward in Silver Comet Trail Attack (Paulding County, GA) After seeing the need and receiving many requests from the public, Sheriff Gary Gulledge has created a reward fund for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for the Silver Comet Trail attack on Tina Waddell which occurred on July 29, 2014 on the Silver Comet Trail. Sheriff Gulledge set up the Tina Waddell Reward Fund at the Bank of North Georgia branch in Hiram, Georgia. The fund will be open to anyone who feels compelled to donate to it and they can remain anonymous if they choose. The fund will remain in place until August 5, 2016. If no one has been arrested by that time, providing that Detectives have no new leads in the case, the money will either be refunded back to the donor, used to buy more cameras and equipment for the Silver Comet Trail, or it will be given to our Cops for Kids Christmas shopping program for underprivileged children. When someone donates money, they will be given an opportunity to decide what they want done with their money at the expiration of the fund. Sheriff Gulledge stated, “The creation of this fund will hopefully prompt someone to break their silence that may be holding that key piece of information that could help us break this case. It is our hope that this reward will be the catalyst that helps us find our suspect(s).” If you have any information that could help Detectives in this case please call the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at (770) 443-3015. The Bank of North Georgia Hiram Branch is located at 75 Metromont Road Hiram, GA 30141 and their phone number is (770) 943-4348.
