For Pakistanis who love to hate India and keep pointing fingers at Indian treatment of its Muslim minority, this is an object lesson in the realities of the Indian state. This is Akbaruddin Owaisi, MLA from Hyderabad in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, openly abusing and casting aspersions on Hindu gods and goddesses, including Kaushalya the mother of Ram. Imagine a Hindu leader in Pakistan making a similar speech about the Prophets family, he wouldnt last even a second and Pakistanis would indulge in a blood orgy of targetting Hindus. Incidentally Akbar is alive and well in India, and continues to make his provocative and inflammatory speeches after this one
