For Project Week, Year 12 is going to Shenzhen this year. Students will be involved in a restoration project at a local primary school, which includes building a library / reading room. Materials needed to carry out the restoration, provide for bookshelves and books are budgeted at 12,000RMB. This resulted in a fundraising target for each class of 4,000RMB. Year 12C convinced Head of School Mr Parrish to allow himself being taped to the wall, with Duct tape, and set out to sell tokens for students to obtain strips of tape. Our class set itself a target to sell a minimum of 6 rolls of tape, or 300 m.
