For Rory: You heard somewhere once that every one of the Fairfolk were once slaves, or captives or something like that to those True Fae things. You arent so sure about that yourself. You dont know what you left behind when you first went to Arcadia but you recall it was bad; you think you were running from something or hiding from someone. Doesnt matter. You found a nice little hole in the earth and just popped up enough times to grab food until you finally got bored and left. And found yourself here. In Thornwood. It was a shithole for you at first. No one liked you, made fun of you behind your back, called you all sorts of names. Worse yet, when you made the mistake of lending that one asshole 50$ and when he refused to pay you back, claiming he never took it from you in the first place. Stupid dick. Your an Ogre, but he was bigger than even you. Didnt matter. You waited till he got good and drunk and force fed him the business end of a length of vinyl tubing. Into his ass. He paid up with interest a few days later. Turns out, your pretty good at this whole repossession and debt collection thing. Like REALLY good. You typically dont even have to hurt anyone most of the time; maybe one or two people a year just to get the point across. Turns out you got real popular after a while. Summer wanted you for your muscle. Spring wanted you around to help collect on some Forgot-their-wallet Johnnies, Winter wanted you around to help for civil forfetures and shit. But Autumn.. they made you the best deal. Anyone late could give you the choice; Interest or Secrets for more time to pay off the debt. Most people just pay extra, but youve got a good nose for secrets. Plus the Court of Harvesters doesnt give you Static for subcontracting for whoever you like, be it another Court, the Fine Folk... heck, youve even done work for that goblin prick Manny. You can count the amount of friends you have on one hand, and even that is missing one finger (well most of one anyways.).
