For Sale - Swift Bel-Air 730 (2002) A VERY RARE BRITISH A CLASS MOTORHOME Much admired and stands out as being different to the rest. This A Class has some very desirable features: Full width rear washroom/dressing room. Curved corner shower cubicle, cassette toilet, spacious vanity/sink unit with mirror surrounds and electric bar heater. Leather swivel captains seats. Versatile L shaped sofa, or seating with a dinette arrangement, which also converts to an additional bed and incorporates seatbelts for 2 forward facing travel seats. Large drop down bed above the cabin area. Furniture laminates are in Korsica Apple with solid Ash edging. Fitted removable carpets throughout. Vinyl wood laminate effect flooring throughout the habitation area. Full Stoves stainless steel oven, grille compartment and 4 burner hob with glass cover and extractor fan above. Stainless steel one and one half bowl sink and drainer with glass cover. 3 Way Electrolux fridge with freezer compartment. Truma Combi blown-air gas heating. Theres a lot of internal space for a motorhome of this size with the L shaped sofa and swiveling captains chairs forming a spacious front lounge area which benefits from the large A Class windscreen providing panoramic views. All habitation windows have cassettes with built in privacy blinds and mosquito blinds and thermal curtains to the lounge and cabin area. Theres also a full width retracting windscreen blind. At just under 6.5 metres long and slightly less than 3 metres high the Bel-Air 730 is very manoeuverable and being built on the Lowline Alko Heavy Chassis its rated at 3850kgs. This provides a genuine payload of around 750kgs and qualifies for cheaper road tax as a PHGV. Mechanically its based on the proven Fiat Ducato 2.8JTD which provides excellent performance combined with good MPG. At around 66,000 miles this is a very sorted and usable motorhome. A completely reliable 45,000 has been covered by us in the last five years ownership. The service history is nice and up-to-date with it being serviced and MOTd every August/September, road tax is until the end of the year. There is also a large file containing service documents, receipts and manuals for all the appliances etc. Professional/Expert inspections welcome. Selling because we want to upsize slightly, go LHD and could use some additional external storage space by way of a garage. £22,950 or will consider part exchanging our Bel-Air plus cash for a suitable replacement A Class motorhome.
