For Sale: 44” Pinto Pony Mare; Princeton, MN $775.00 Mia is 16 years old and is in the prime of her life! She has been the best teacher for our kids, but sadly they are outgrowing her. She rides with a saddle or bareback. Single, double, in snow or in sun, this little girl is packed full of fun. She picks up all of her feet and stands like a dream for the farrier. Walks, trots and canters. She has been shown in W.S.C.A. games for the past couple of years and is a little lady at the shows. She stands quietly at the trailer, or if you have kids like mine, she will RIDE around the show all day long. She will go as fast or as slow as you would like her to go. She would love to canter in her little pony classes, but my daughter who rode her the most doesn’t like to go too fast. She jumps and will run Jumping Figure 8’s as well. My kids have also done rescue race on her...at warp speed of course. Haha. My kids have ridden her double with a saddle and bareback. No buck, no rear. This pony is a saint. Sometimes my girls like to pull her out of the pasture and just lead her around. Mia also LOVES to go on trail rides. She is currently being ridden in an o-ring snaffle bit. One prerequisite to purchasing this little mare is that you MUST be willing to keep her on her current medication; Prascend. When we got Mia, she had a long coat. I had her immediately tested for cushings and she fell into the range. I put her on a pergolide-based medication and she has been amazing. Her feet are fabulous, she sheds out in the spring and does not have to be dry-lotted (although ponies really should be as they don’t metabolize like horses). I believe it is a small price to pay for the safety of your child! I cannot say enough good things about this pony. I have put off listing this mare for sale as she is just a little gem and I hate to part with her. If I was getting close to having grandkids I would keep her, but I hope I have a long time before that happens. :) I would love for her to go to a home where a little boy or girl could love on her. She would be an amazing first pony, or will be a great partner for someone who is a little more advance. She gets along with both mares and geldings and is very amiable in a herd of horses. Mia is up to date on all her vaccinations (4-way and calvenza in spring, rabies in fall) and has a current negative coggins. She gets her feet trimmed every 8 weeks along with the rest of my herd as well. If you have any questions about this little girl, please feel free to contact me at 7hillsfarm@gmail. I would be happy to talk to you. Good, loving and caring homes need only apply as she is truly a gem of a pony and deserves the best. Thanks for your consideration. Have a blessed day. https://youtube/watch?v=xqx21SC2GvE
