For Sale •Duke 16.3hh, 10 year old bay ott thoroughbred gelding re advertised due to buyer default Duke is quiet and sensible on the ground, easy to handle. Strong under saddle but isnt nasty or unable to be controlled. Can be piggy when being brought back into work but is a straight-forward, keen horse when in ridden work. doesnt take much to bring him back in. Has attended gymkhanas and has been schooled over 1m. Requires an experienced rider or someone who is confident to bring him into work. no buck, bolt, rear, kick or bite. Needs encouragement to get onto the float but isnt dangerous. Travels well, although requires a significant slow down around bends and roundabouts. although never had a problem with him falling. he just can get unsteady around round abouts. Will take the right rider to the top and will make a magnificent jumping/eventing horse. No previous injuries, retired from jumps racing sound, just too slow. Up to date with farrier, worming and will have the dentist and masseuse out being viewing as well as a vet check if wanted.
