For Sale: Plus-size, 8 piece, royal blue costume with gold HAND embroidery and gold lace trim. Corset, walking skirt, and hat have been worn 3 or 4 times. Butterfly bustle/train and jacket have been worn once for a photo shoot. Bustled apron has never been worn. All sewing and embroidery was done by me, and I built the hat from scratch. Corset is designed for a 44 waist to have a back opening of 4. It is only 10 long in front and 6 on the sides so will work for someone short waisted. Skirt fits a 40 waist (designed to not bunch under the corset) and is 40 long. Jacket will fit a 46 chest. Removable butterfly bustle/train and bustled apron are made from sari fabric. Bottom of bustle/train is lined with cotton to prevent wear. Apron is built on a cotton base. Butterfly bustle/train hooks onto safety pins that you slip through from the inside of the jacket or corset. Apron is attached to a waistband. Corset is made from faux silk. Strength layer of the corset is a heavy, non-stretchy cotton. Corset is unlined. Embroidery and flossing on the corset are done by hand in gold floss. It has spiral steels, two-part grommets, and a 10 steel busk. Hat is made from buckram and wire and covered with hand stitched faux silk. Each of the peacock feathers on the front and back were individually glued in place. Hat is designed to perch on top of your hairdo and be held in place by the attached elastic (which goes behind your head and under your hair) or with hat pins. The jacket is made from cotton except for the false vest panels which are made from sari fabric. It has gold rose buttons and gold lace on the cuffs. It is interfaced for stiffness and lined with cotton. Im asking $275 for all 8 pieces. Please message me or comment here with any questions.
