For Sale or Possible Long Term Lease (1yr minimum) Located in Evans, GA outside of Augusta Lower Level Dressage and Eventing Schoolmaster Captain of My Heart, 1997 16.1hh TB gelding, has competed through Prelim eventing and Third Level dressage. Would make a great schoolmaster for confident intermediate rider looking to learn the ropes of either sport and collect some blue ribbons along the way! Captain consistently scores 70% at First Level and mid-60s at Second Level. He was 2010 Tennessee State Champion at First Level and qualified for the championships at Second Level in 2011 although the cancelled the show. In the eventing realm, Captain consistently scores in the 20s and low 30s in dressage. He is careful in showjumping and loves to run cross-country. Forward ride to the fences and honest. Jumps ditches, banks, and water with no problems. Captain stands tied or crosstied, although I typically groundtie him, stands for the vet and farrier, self loads and unloads and travels well. Some maintenance needed but nothing major. He is sound with no vices. Asking $3000 OBO; I have started a new job and have neither the time nor the money for him, plus hes bored without a job! He is getting ridden at least 3-4 times a week so could easily be ready to compete for the upcoming season.
