For There Is One God James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy 4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 1 Tim 4:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 2 Tim 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
