TransLink, together with its delivery partners, places great importance on providing reliable services that adhere to scheduled timetables where absolutely possible. This is a major challenge for TransLink and our delivery partners as buses, like other road users, are subject to delays through unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances such as traffic congestion, accidents, and road works, to name only a few. Additionally, bus drivers may experience issues on their previous routes. These runs can be in areas where the traffic and weather conditions are considerably different to those experienced in your location. When drivers are held up it can lead to their subsequent run starting late. If delays are quite considerable our delivery partners aim to cover the run but must assess factors such as driver availability and vehicle availability, while also ensuring that they maintain a duty of care to both its passengers and drivers. With that being said, given your feedback indicates that the service is frequently failing to arrive, I can advise that your comments have been forwarded directly to Brisbane Transport, who will continue to monitor the performance of this service, identify any trends or recurring issues that may require corrective action, and address these matters where they fall within their control.
