For Tinseltown Tuesday I tried to think of a particular clip that stayed with me for a long time. This one is from Children of Men and if you havent seen it, do yourself a favour and watch it. It is so dark and dystopian and therefore not something I would typically love, but just so brilliantly done. I cant handle much violence or build up of tension at all and so this scene had me crawling out of my skin with nerves. The backstory (if you havent seen the film) is that Clive Owens character has learned in the night that the people he is staying with plan to murder him and all of his companions, other than a girl whom they wish to have control over. Owens character sneaks out in the night and disables his hosts vehicle and then tries to coordinate an escape for his companions and himself.
