For Your Information: The extremely cold weather has effected many places. The Turtletown Church was no exception. We had a terribly high electric bill. After talking to the electric company, it was thought that our heating system needed to be checked. Our high bill is thought to be due to problems with our Heat & Air System. Our bill for 31 day was $809.00! Decembers bill in 2012 & 2011 was between three and four hundred dollars. To avoid future high bills we have ordered our system to be checked and serviced. We have also installed a propane gas back up heater in the kitchen. Our kitchen water did freeze up but by Saturday afternoon no leaks were located. Please help us keep the Sanctuary and Sunday School Room doors closed after each service, never cut the Heat & Air off - always leave on auto with the temp set at 55 degrees when Church is not in use. A special expense offering will be received this Sunday. Please plan on giving some extra toward this need.
