For a Well-established Woodwork/Steel Manufacturing & installation company in Lebanon GENERAL MANAGER Age: 40-55. University graduate, ideally in Architecture, Interior design or Civil Engineering; preferably holder of a Masters in Management or MBA degree from well-reputed universities in Lebanon or abroad. Around 10-15 years of operational experience with a minimum of 5 years in a Senior Management position as General Manager or Deputy General Manager within well-established major local or regional companies in the field of manufacturing, construction, building materials or related. Previous experience in management, manufacturing, organizational development, personnel management and elaboration/implementation of reporting systems. Experience in building policies & procedures, financial planning and analysis, overseeing Human Resources, Information Technology, procurement and Estimation. Previous technical background in woodworks or steel manufacturing is a major plus. Previous regional experience is a plus. Will be responsible for running the company activities in accordance with the chairman and board directives and serve as a key member of the executive team that sets the company’s strategic direction. Will direct the activities of all departments establish and implements operational policies and processes ensure quality control of all company output as pertains to customer acquisition and delivery of services. Will be responsible for the smooth and effective operation of the Plant covering the following functions: Shop Floors, Production Planning, Materials Management, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, logistics …., maintain strong relationship with the clients even after the project is completed, develop the pricing policies in line the Business Plan, work on marketing communications including public relations, advertising, trade shows, seminars and events, analyses and market research and ensure the right application of the procurement policies and processes (Material requested, Payment terms, Approved Suppliers…). Will also prepare annual budget to be approved by the Board of Directors in addition to periodical financial reports. Charismatic; strong yet pleasant and flexible personality. Capable of coaching and motivating teams. High ethical values. Driven for results, committed and motivated. Strong managerial and operations skills. Results oriented; decision-maker.
