For a few minutes, I thought about responding to the negative a-holes and the trolls posting here, on the The Bert Show page, and on my IG about the #IceBucketChallenge video I posted and shared with Bert Weiss and Kristin Klingshirn. Lots of people upset that: 1. I didnt use the right bucket or enough ice. 2. I didnt reference any donation to the cause. 3. Buckets of water dont do anything to cure ALS. But I decided against it. If I had responded, I probably would have asked to see the video THEY made with the proper amount of ice and correct bucket. I also would have invited them over to review my credit card statement next month so they could see the line from The ALS Association. (And when they came over, I would have made sure to wear my Team Gleason t-shirt that I got when I made a donation last year to that organization.) Finally, I would have included a link to the page on ALSA.org where the organization talks about the significant influx of donations since the challenge began. I am sure all the people I would write to are working hard right now to figure out how to eradicate ALS, cancer, AIDS, heart disease, malaria, world hunger, and (of course) Ebola, and other fatal maladies. They wouldnt have time for my reply anyway. Jeff
