For a modern Con Con to achieve this takes genuine imagination. Its comparable to the dillusions of the anarchists, unachievable. First I would like to comment on the main point used to sale this to the public . My State Rep bought into it. A balance the budget amendment. If the States were really serious about balancing the budget they would stop taking the borrowed money from the national government , which always has strings attached that erodes State sovereignty. I think it obvious that they are not serious. It is also obvious that they are ignorant of the debt based monetary system being administered by a cartel of banks with international ownership working in concert and with the complicity of the national government. I do not believe these people promoting a Con Con with the idea that a Balanced Budget Amendment will reign in the national government are really that ignorant. I therefore suspect that they have other motives. But lets for argument sake say they are sincere and that they actually do get a Con Con and the only changes to the Constitution is an amendment to balance the budget. Do you think that the establishment will cease from borrowing ? Lets say they actually did and that those programs and services paid for by the borrowed funds ceased to exist. Lots of dissatisfied citizens abound but we will have smaller government. But wait, we still have an outstanding debt and the Cartel can adjust the interest rate at will. What happens when they raise the interest 1% ? How are we ever going to balance the budget ? Raise Taxes ! Lots more dissatisfied customers. But it is a matter of adhering to the law of the land. The truth is the current system of government accounting is fraudulent . Who approaches their personal finances this way ? I cannot . When I look at my finances I must include all my expenditures and debt in my budget. I cannot have a balanced budget unless I have no debt and my expenditures balance with my income. This is not the case with the government and will not be the case if the Constitution was amended requiring a balanced budget. First, the monetary system is fraudulent and immoral and the Cartel that administers it is criminal and Congress is an accomplice. If you wish to begin to solve our national problems , it is neccesary to understand the source. We have a government controlled by those committed to the Progressive ideology which has been implemented over the past hundred plus years . This agenda has fundamentally transformed the American government making it, in the view of the founding fathers expressed in the Unanimous Declaration, illegitimate. Despite the propaganda and lip service, it does not adhere to the Constitution. The solution is for the government to adhere to the Constitution . Under the Progressive leadership and that of the radical (socialists) Republicans preceding them, the Constitution was amended in such a way as to eventually erode our liberties and grow government. We must repeal these amendments. The continual practice of creating debt and using these debt notes as currency and eventually, contrary to the Constitution, making these debt notes legal tender, gave rise to the internationally owned banking cartel known as the Federal Reserve System which has a monopoly on our national economy. The elimination of this monopoly and the elimination of the legal tender laws which attempts to legitimize what is patently unconstitutional should be our priority. The States have the authority and power to solve the problem by virtue of the sovereignty of the people residing within their borders. The State can nullify all unconstitutional legislation, Executive, Judicial and Bureaucratic decrees coming out of Wasington D.C. The States can interpose itself between an illegitimate tyrannical central government and its citizens in order to fullfill its duty to secure their God -given rights. Now before you consent and authorize your State to call for a Constitutional Convention to change the Constitution, you should demand that your State Obey the Constitution and insist that the national government do so. If they will not, you cannot trust them. Ohioans should be ringing the phones off the hook demanding a repeal of the legislators call for a Con Con. Nullification is the rightful remedy.
