For a moment tonight, the eve of my birthday, I had the thought, Im no where near in my life that I had believed I would be at this point. It brought me down for a moment, honestly. Then I got to thinking, If you truly believe in your own mantra of everything happens the way it is meant to be, then I should realize that I am meant to be where I am right now. I am a strong believer in what most call fate. My definition is much more broad, but the same gist. So I accept where I am, knowing there is a reason I am here, doing what Im doing, knowing and meeting the people I do. Age has taught me one thing. There are reasons beyond our capability of understanding as to what happens in our lives, but in the end, one thing stands true, everything happens for a reason.
