Talented and Dedicated, The Lyrical Professor as quoted by his fans, George P is steadily breaking his way into the music industry. Born Damion Smith on December 25, George P hails from the community of Grants Pen in St. Andrew, Jamaica. He attended Tarrant and Tivoli Gardens High School where he completed his tertiary education and could have moved on into cabinet making or becoming a professional football player, but he could not resist the temptation of following his dream of pursuing a career in music, based on the fact that doing music was a gift given to him by God and a gift he has been using to his best ability from surprisingly a very tender age. Hence he followed that dream and has currently been in the music industry professionally, for more than seven years. With violence happening around him on a daily basis and the constant barking of the guns in his Fagan Avenue community, George P avoided that life and persistently molded his craft as an artiste. He later teamed up with his child hood friend Natural, Savage and Flexx to form the lyrically inclined Fagan Fraternity. In 2007 producer Richie Ramus produced an underground mixtape titled Art Of War where he had a lyrical battle between Fagan Fraternity and the Vybz Kartel led Portmore Empire. Being Apart of Fagan Fraternity at that point in time, George P stood out on that mixtape with sharp cutting lyrics that flowed seamlessly. That mixtape drawed the dancehall fraternity to George P, as every one began showing respect to his lyrical prowess. I am determined to use my music to represent my label SnoWhite Productions and my beautiful Island of Jamaica. George P has done work Producers and Record Labels such as SnoWhite Productions, Estates Records, M1 and Down Sounds, Allfaces, Knatural Ent, Dkeys Ent, Estate Records, Onestable, Rokwon and Stephen Di Genius. He is also looking forward to working with Elvis at So Unique Records and Notnice records. George P has done a numerous amount of stage performances as he has shared the stage with artistes like Busy Signal, Aidonia, Flexx, Movado and others. He has performed various stage shows/events such as Heineken Star Time, Movado Birthday Bash, community stage shows, High School Barbques and shows at Starfish Resort. When asked how would you describe your music, Geogre P states I would describe my music as the key to opening the doors anywhere in society, in ghettos, for the homeless, for the poor etc. My music is vital and I can use it in aiding to make the world a better place, as I tend to be the voice of those who are unheard or afraid to speak out. George P has done countless amount of songs such as tracks tiltled; Lighter, Buss and Gone on the Macka Tree Riddim which featured artistes such as Movado, Busy Signal and alot more, My girl which was done on Adomantium Riddim which has Gyptian, Tyrical and other artistes featured on it, Clean Any Way Me Deh produced by Onestable Records in Canada. His latest single is a song titled George P ft Chico_Whine Up which has been getting quiet a number of airplay both locally and internationally in countries as Far as America and France. Also for that track is an official music video which has been aired on Blackers Top 20 video count down show on Flow TV and can also be found on youtube. He has a new single to be released soon titled Jamaican Mafia George P isa currently signed to SnoWhite Productions, a label that is based in Toronto, Canada. The Record Label has been putting great emphasis on his music, as they set out in full force to get his music heard worldwide!
