While we are not currently accepting boxes or loose hair/fur/fleece for oil spills, we can accept small personal donations of human hair such as braids or ponytails greater than 3 inches in length, to use in classrooms for teaching children about hair absorption properties in oil spills. We are anticipating a merger with a large entity wanting to use hair as a filter in storm drains for motor oil spill clean up and we will then need larger donations of fur, hair and fleece.
