For all of my friends and family who are not in the Toledo area and not watching our local news: Toledo and several areas around are on a State of Emergency. The water supply is so contaminated with an algea bloom that no one is allowed to drink the water. They are not to use dishes that have been washed in the water or wash their laundry in the local water. They just said it is ok to bathe or shower tho. (does that make sense?) Restaurants are closed because they cant serve food that comes in contact with tap water - even washing veggies for salad. Keith works at Starbucks and got a call early this morning that they are closed until this ends. The National Guard has been called in. Pray that they find a quick solution for this, please. Thanks.
