For all of us who have not lost sight and connection to our roots and ties to Mother Africa, this will excite and inspire you!! Meet Tambra Raye Stevenson--my FB friend and 2014 National Geographic Traveler of the Year!! Though we have never met in person, I have followed Tambras work for over 6 years , starting with her fabulous work in health and community empowerment in the DC metro region, and it is WONDERFUL to see the project she envisioned and created take off and gain due recognition! What is most powerful about her NATIVSOL KITCHEN project is the linkages it is creating between Africans in America and on the Mother continent, and the healing, restoration, and implications for improved health that her work presents, beginning with how we eat, and leading to so much more. CONGRATULATIONS & GODPSEED TAMBRA! We WILL get you to Madison, Wisconsin to share your work when the time is right!! What a blessing that would be!
