For all of you have have given so generously to the install fund for my whale mural Whimsy, here is an update. I have a meeting with the Assistant to the City Manager of Royal Oak (Art Explored) this Wednesday the 13th. There may be an issue with needed permits IF the city cant get them waived. For sure the sign company I have been talking to will have the street tied up for about 4 hours (we hope no more than that) and my friend Brian Shelton, who is trucking the whales up to Royal Oak is up to his neck in work right now. I will know more after Wednesday, but we are really hoping this all falls together before Thanksgiving. If the permits prove to be a huge added expense, I have the option of taking So Long and Thanks and having that installed instead. Royal Oak really wants Whimsy, so prayers everyone!!! This will be an amazing install to be sure. Stay tuned:)
