For all of you parents who some day may face a similar situation: My youngest son will be on his way to the Netherlads on Monday morning (for a week). As responsible parents we applied a visa electron card for him a forthnight ago. No mail, as of yet. So we took our chances and went to the bank and, lo and behold, the card was there! The card, that is. The pin code will arrive sometime via mail. Now we pray the pin to arrive on Monday, so we can communicate it to the owner before he has to resort to indignified means on account to avoid starvation.
