For all of you who have been fans of Little Jimmy Dickens, listen tonight January 8th 2015, on WSM 650 AM between the hours of 7:00 PM until 12:00 AM for the five hour tribute memorial to the TATER as he was lovingly know. Mr. Jimmy Dickens was born in 1920. He first performed at the Grand Ole Opry in 1948, and his last performance there was on Dec. 20, 2014. He died on January 2nd, 2015, at age of 94. He was four foot eleven inches tall. My father, the late Walter Lee Parker was a fan of Little Jimmy Dickens. My father was four inches taller that Mr. Jimmy Dickens, but my father looked up to Little Jimmy Dickens.
