For all of you who wanted it... babes creamed corn recipe Teresa Kirkham. David Reed Michelle Michelle Hansen Conner 8 cups corn cut off the cob 3 tablespoons butter 2 teas bacon grease Salt Pepper 1/2 cup flour 1/2 c sugar 1 c heavy cream 1/2 cup cold water Melt butter & grease together in pot on low. Put in corn, flour, & sugar. Mix well. ( you will have to keep stirring well) add salt & pepper to your tasting & then add cream & water. Cook on medium for abt 20-30 min until your corn is done. Its delicious! (One thing I do if Im in a hurry is cook the corn with a cup of water in the microwave for 8-10 min then add the corn to the pot with the other ingredients & I cook that until it gets warm & hot) enjoy!
