For all the lovely people who follow my art not from New Zealand. New Zealand is rather a special place. We have many beautiful beaches but also amazing mountains and unusual rock formations.. A couple of photos from a recent holiday in the South Island of New Zealand. The rock formation is a place called Castle Hill and is where a movie calledthe Chronicles of Narnia was filmed and Lord of the Rings. The mountain shot is on the road from the East side of the South Island to the west on a road called Arthurs Pass. Goes though beautiful mountain village and the through the divide of the Southern Alps. The bird is a Kea a native mountain parrot to NZ seen in the wild In the Southern Alps. They are very intelligent cheeky and destructive. But still so cool to see and beautiful.
