For all the scum who come on here and spout that Hitler had the right idea, heres a quick history lesson. Before Hitler came to power, the Weimar Republic wasnt too bad, it wasnt great, but it wasnt awful, much like contemporary Britain. Hitler managed to drum up support for the NSDAP, which started off as a very small party (Like the EDL or UKIP) by using social tension to turn the German population against the Jewish minority and other minority groups (much like the EDL and UKIP do with Muslims etc.). They were also fiercely anti-union and anti left (much like EDL and UKIP). This vile rhetoric was dished out to the German people under the pretence of patriotism and national or Aryan pride (much like the EDL and UKIP), this eventually escalated into the Second World War. So far this probably sounds quite good to most EDL and UKIP fans. So how did things work out for Germany? Even if you ignore the abhorrent effects on the rest of the world. Between 7 and 9 million GERMANS died in the conflict, millions of German women were raped during occupation and German cities were almost entirely levelled in bombing raids. Furthermore, Germany became an occupied territory for the next 40+ years to the very people they considered racially inferior to themselves. Basically they brought on themselves everything that they set out to protect themselves from in 1939. Now the deluded amongst far right groups like the EDL think that it could be done properly, well, if the German generation of the 1930s who had experienced war and hardship you can only dream of couldnt do it, you piss-head morons who can barely string a sentence together definitely cant. And for us sane people, this is exactly why we have to make sure this never happens again, and stamp out groups like the EDL before they grow, like a disgusting weed. Which is what the German people failed to do in the 1930s.
