For all those apparent football experts who are actually Messi Fanboys who are trying to Justify Messis undeserved GB by bringing Zidane (seriously ? ) and Forlans name, heres something you missed. 2006 - Zidane: Goal against Spain in quarterfinal; only goals vs. Portugal in semifinal; goal in the final 2010 - Forlan: Goal to equalize game and take it to penalties in quarterfinal; goal to equalize against Holland in semifinal; goal against Germany in playoff 2014 - Messi: No goal/assist against Belgium in quarterfinal; no goal/assist against Holland in semifinal (he didnt have a single touch of the ball in the Dutch penalty area in 120 minutes); no goal/assist in final. Almost completely ineffective in Knockout stages. Think before you jump the cannon. Theres a reason many experts and former players eg: Peter Shilton, Diego Maradona, etc all agree that Messi shouldnt have got it.
