For all those concerned - I had an infection in my big toe and they are not quite sure how it got there. I am on antibiotics and there will be practice today as planned. Thank you for coming to the parent meeting and I am sorry I couldnt make it. I will be setting up the fundraiser this week and we will kick it off Tuesday after the holiday. Make sure you keep in contact with your athlete because I will be sending home the flyer and information next week. This fundraiser is easy and last year was very successful for those that sent out the emails. The only catch is that if someone wants to pay you in cash and mail in the check to me they should not go thru the company just send the check straight to either you or me. Remember all the money raised by this fundraising effort goes straight to the athlete for the Mt Sac trip. The 2 fundraisers that we do for the program is the Buffalo Chips stampede on September 7th and our own Invitational on October 11th. That money goes towards the invitationals that we enter every year. The schools budget for cross country is not even half of what we spend in invitational fees. I will need around 20 athletes for the Stampede and for the Other Meet we will need parents to man the snack bar (The Burchetts are our coordinators this year) and give out awards at the finish line.
