For all those girls out there who seem to be confused about what Women in Concert is all about - it is a platform to showcase your talent...this is by no means a competition although there are certain criteria to be an artist anyway - talent and the drive to keep on going being a couple of them. Nirbhaya foundation hopes to train the girls not only in self confidence, stage presence and voice control but also in making them aware of the need for women empowerment all over the world. This can be achieved not by bashing up the male egos but by making them our partners in making them understand the many social injustices women face and they seem to be unaware about! ( long status but needed :). )
