For all you ppl running/jogging on a treadmill @ a slow to moderate rate for long periods of time I recommend you try doing wind sprints for 15 mins. a day instead and see if you get better results. Just sprint as fast as you can for 20 seconds or so then rest or walk for about 30 seconds and repeat. You will save ALOT of boring time on the tread mill and the metabolic effect will be greater thus you will burn more fat. :)
