For all you tennis players lamenting over wet outside courts, rejoice. Yes there is a winter alternative. Its called Pickleball and its being played on a regular basis at the teen center in the Paonia Park. Forget the propaganda that says PB will ruin your tennis forehand stroke or your lob. It will sharpen your eye and backhand and quicken your timing as the ball gives one so little time to react. Beginners are welcome as are competitive players as we mix up play as need be.......Tues. and Thurs.....12-3 and Sat.....10-12...in the Paonia town park.....(two outside courts weather permitting........https://youtube/watch?v=VKVL-doWTLM
