For almost 25 yrs Ive been blessed with the presence of my dayghter - Abby. Life at home has been .......shall we say - challenging??? When it was inappropriate to use the word challenging I can assure you tht life was most definately living in the fast lane whenever Abby was around. Yesterday, however, my little whirlwind, bundle of fun, took over the tenancy on a beautiful apartment and off she went. With tears in my eyes (of sheer joy - I hasten to add) I pushed and pulled and lifted and moved the van loads of furniture tht we rallied round to provide for this move. Every bruised knuckle, every cut to the arm - was all worth the effort!! And there I left my big princess to spend her first night completely alone. This evening however, I am going to pay her a visit. I cnt wait to arrive at the front door and leave my finger pressed on the bell until she answers it. Then Im gna amble upstairs - switching on every light tht I pass. Next I think Ill put the oven on - for say, about an hour and a half (on 250 of course) jst to warm up before I cook a party sausage roll. After Ive eaten Im going to make a cup of tea and leave the tea bag, spoon & sugar mess all over the side in the kitchen, then I will go into the lounge to drink it - hopefully I will forget its there and kick it all over the carpet. I will put a bath on to run after my drink. Of course I will only put on the hot tap - whilst its running I think I might fall asleep on the couch - its sound doin tht cos all the hot water jst goes dwn the overflow anyway until you wake up! I think Ill put some false tan on after the bath - cos I will have shaved my legs and left a big hairy old false tan scum line round the bath before leaving the bathroom so my legs will be nice n smooth. Oh - hope I dnt forget to wipe my false tan fingers all over her newly painted walls and doors!!! Itll probably be about time for me to leave after all this - so - hang on - Ill jst wait till she nips to the loo - then Ill sneak into her bedroom, go through all her private papers and nick half of her wardrobe!!! Sooooo looking forward to this visit!!!! Joking aside - well I wasnt joking at all to be honest - but I do love her dearly and Im gna miss her terribly - bit like a hole in the head!!!! Yesssss - 1 down - 2 to go!!! xxx
